Empowered Minds Collective is an equity-centered consulting, coaching, and education practice founded by two former educators. We partner with organizations, conferences, and retreat leaders who are doing meaningful work and want support that goes deeper than a keynote and a handout. Below are three ways we work with outside partners. We are open to conversation about what fits your context.

Keynote Speaking & Presentations

Kaytie and Marissa are available as keynote speakers and featured presenters for conferences, summits, staff kick-offs, and organizational events. Our sessions are interactive and grounded, designed to move people not just through content but through reflection and dialogue. We draw on our lived experience as educators and our training in equity-centered coaching to create experiences that land and stay with people long after the room clears. We develop custom presentations based on your theme and audience, and we do not do generic.

Retreat Collaboration

You have the vision for your retreat. We bring the design and facilitation depth to make the learning and reflective elements actually work. EMC partners with retreat organizers as co-designers and collaborative facilitators, working alongside your team from the planning stage through execution. We learn your community, your goals, and your culture, then co-build sessions that create the conditions for honest, productive, and transformative dialogue. This is not a vendor relationship. We show up as partners.

Initiative Partnerships

Some of our best work happens when we join forces with organizations already committed to equity, belonging, and leadership development. If you have an existing initiative, program, or professional development strategy that could benefit from embedded consulting, coaching, or facilitation support, we are open to exploring what a longer-term partnership could look like. We function as thought partners and co-designers, not outside consultants brought in to deliver a module. We invest in understanding your work before we ever step into a room.

Rooted in Practice

We have spent our careers inside classrooms, schools, and communities shaped by systemic inequity. That lived experience is the foundation of everything we do. We come to this work not as outside consultants but as people who have been in the rooms you are trying to change.

Equity Is Not an Add-On

Every session, keynote, and partnership we take on is filtered through an equity lens from the start. We do not bolt it on at the end. We build brave spaces intentionally, which means the design, the language, and the facilitation choices all serve that goal.

We take time to understand your people, your context, and your goals before we ever design anything. Our process is collaborative from the first conversation. You will not get a generic program with your logo on it.
